I'm so happy to have been referred to Peace of Mind In Home Pet Care by my veterinarian's office. Peace of Mind set me up with Jessica Champion to take care of my three kitties when I'm away. Jessica is wonderful. Very attentive, trustworthy and reliable. I never worry about my kitties being fed or cared for when I'm gone. And, she happily follows all of my crazy instructions. Anyone who loves their pets as much as I do would be extremely pleased with the wonderful care that Jessica provides.

We have had Peace of Mind looking after our puggles Max & Bella and our cat Oreo for more than 3 years. I love knowing that I never have to worry about our "kids" when Jessica comes to take care of them. She takes such good care of them, always making sure they have plenty of fresh water and are well loved before she leaves. Jessica is very responsible, always on time and is very respectful of our home. The kids love when Jessica comes to visit and I feel even better that she has experience in a vets office just incase anything ever happens. My husband and I are the happy puppy parents of two golden retrievers who are very used to having companionship during the day. I get to work from home about 50% of the time; the rest of the time I’m on the road. Leaving the “kids” behind was difficult and I worried about them missing some human time when I was away. Then I found Peace of Mind Pet Sitting. Julie, Kathy and Beth have been great additions to our team. The dogs get extra attention when I’m away and I feel better knowing they are being looked in on. Even though I still miss them when I travel, I feel better knowing they aren’t missing out on fun walks and play time. I strongly recommend Peace of Mind.

Canali and Stanli, Fremont
My Husband and I relocated from New Orleans to California in May of 2010 along with our 2 four legged children. Because Canali and Stanli have only been looked after by my parents, I was very concerned about what I would do when we had to travel. Putting them in a kennel or staying at a "pet hotel" was not an option. So, I began researching sitters on the internet. I am so fortunate I found Peace of Mind, because that is exactly what I have. When I contacted Julie she was on vacation, but immediately called me back and arranged for me to meet with one of her caregivers, Jessica.
Jessica came by after her workday (a vet tech, BONUS, BONUS, BONUS) to meet with Canali, Stanli & us a week before we were leaving on vacaiton. To say she was pleasant, professional and very pet friendly is not doing her justice. She made me feel at ease right away, just by the way she greeted my boys! Canali and Stanli immediately took to her and I could tell she genuinely liked them. When we left for vacation, I will admit I was nervous about leaving them with someone else for the 1st time, however while I was waiting to board my flight, I received a text from Jessica just letting me know she was at my house checking on the kids and that they were great. She texted me every evening and gave me a little update on our boys. When we returned home, 6 days later, the kids were very happy to see us, but I could tell that they didn't miss us too much, as they greeted us at the door with their new babies (toys) Jessica had bought them.
To Julie and Jessica, thank you both from the bottom of our hearts, it is without reservation I wholeheartedly recommend your company for pet care. I truly do have "Peace of Mind" when I know someone who truly LOVES animals is caring for my boys!

I wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for everything you have done for Mike, Archie and I. You and your staff are nothing, but exceptional! You all have gone far and above what I feel is expected. I always know that when I leave Archie in your care he is loved, safe and having the best time. I honestly can't say enough positive things about you and your staff.
I always know that I can call you or anyone on your team to watch, walk or play with Archie on a moments notice. I love my boy so much and it is so hard for me to trust people with him, but I trust you completely with him and I love that he goes to your home, your personal space and he is being treated like he is your own. I love that you have him sleeping right next to you, that you take him on long walks or even just to get a cup of coffee! I also know that Archie and I are going to miss you all and we truly feel blessed to have met you, Kathy, MJ and Scruffy.

My wife and I were considering an extended vacation to Australia. We live on a 40 acre piece of property in a remote location and have many domestic and farm animals. We have sheep, horses, goats, a lama, dogs & cats. We knew of Julie’s 17 year hands on experience working for a veterinarian so we asked Julie if she would be interested in taking care of our pets & home while we were gone.
We left Julie specific instructions about times for feeding the farm animals and the 3 dogs & 2 cats. Do to the distance of our trip, we made sure Julie was familiar with the different veterinarians we used for animals and also the furrier’s name for the horses.
Upon returning from our overseas trip we found that Julie had taken excellent care of all of our pets, as well as compassionately & professionally dealing with the unfortunate loss of one of our goats. All the pets were happy & looked well cared for.
We would not hesitate to ask Julie to come to our home to care for our pets during any of our vacations. She demonstrated responsibility, compassion & a clear understanding of how pets must be cared for. This is the “peace of mind” we needed for a relaxing vacation.
And we are not just saying this because she is our daughter!

Julie and Jessica have taken care of my teenage Chihuahua, Pablo, in their homes many times. The exceptional services and personal care that they provide Pablo completely removes the feelings of stress and anxiety (mine and his) that can occur when it‘s necessary to have alternate pet care arrangements for him when I need to travel. Their veterinary experience is also a valuable benefit as Pablo is an insulin-dependent diabetic. Aside from being extremely kind, conscientious, and always professional, Julie and Jessica are very knowledgeable about animal care, which includes making the owner and pet feel comfortable, and attending to those pets that require a little extra maintenance as Pablo does. It truly provides me PEACE of MIND having Julie and Jessica accept Pablo into their homes as part of their extended families.
