Choosing our staff is extremely important to us. We understand that you are handing over the keys to your home in order for us to be responsible for a precious member of your family. Our team consists of individuals who I have worked with in the veterinary industry or are close personal friends of existing team members. We are all bonded and insured with the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, and are committed to treating your home with the utmost respect, and showing the same love and compassion to your pet as you would. Every member of our team is capable of caring for healthy pets as well as those with any medical conditions or special needs. I have also personally utilized the services of each of my team members for Pet Sitting and Overnight Pet Care in my home.

My desire to care and interact with pets led me to the veterinary industry where I have worked since 1994. Initially I worked as a receptionist, then as a technician before moving into an office manager position for Mission Valley Veterinary Clinic. 

There I gained the business development experience and initial contacts prompting me to create my own pet-sitting service - Peace of Mind In Home Pet Care. 

My awareness of the unconditional love pets offer their owners, my compassion for all animals, and my affinity to treat all of my clients “children” as my own has been the foundation for Peace of Minds continued growth.

Hello, My name is Jessica Champion. I have been working in the Veterinary field as a receptionist since 2007. I have been pet sitting since 2000. Hi my name is Jessica Q. Haws
I have been working in the veterinary field since 2006. I graduated from Western Career College with an Associates in Science Degree for Veterinary Technology in 2007. I am now on my way to taking my state board exam to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. I currently work in Fremont at Mission Valley Vet Clinic as a full time technician. I live in San Jose with my husband Stephen and our 2 cats Luna and Bogart and our two dogs Juno and Nugget. I love being around animals both at work and at home. They always bring a smile to my face.

I have always had a deep love and respect for pets, but it wasn't until I was in my 40's that I began to work with them. I trained at Mission Valley Veterinary Clinic to be a technician, and have since worked at Ohlone Emergency Veterinary Clinic in Fremont, an upscale pet hospital in San Mateo, and currently work at VCA Mission San Jose in Fremont.

Utilizing my love of animals and veterinary experience to help care for our clients pets has been a joy! I know that your pet is a valued member of your family, and that being separated from their family for even a short time can be stressful. I take pride in being able to comfort and reassure your pet during your absence.

I am a resident of Hayward and have lived in the Bay Area all my life. Growing up I always had pets - dogs, cats and fish. I was also a member of 4H.  I currently have a cat named Buddy.  Buddy showed up in my backyard as a feral kitten.  It took over 6 months to befriend him.  Today Buddy is almost 4 and has certainly lived up to his name.  I have always loved animals and working for Peace of Mind allows me the opportunity to do something that I enjoy.  In caring for your pets, I will treat them as my own.

I get my love for pets from my mother. It seems every time she went to the dime or hardware store in our small town in Washington, she came home with a dog that needed a home. My friends and I would find litters of baby bunnies and, convinced they'd been abandoned by their mother, take them home to try to raise them. None of them ever survived more than a day and we were always heart broken when they died but we kept trying. When we moved to California and finally got settled, the first thing we did was go to the local shelter and adopt a dog. "Buster" was my trusty companion for several years, I fell in love with Golden Retrievers through my husband who had "Lucy" when I met him. We now have two rescue Goldens, Miss Fanny Rose and Rufus. We live in Pleasanton, CA. My husband is a swim teacher and coach and I work for a local veterinarian.

My name is Stacey, I am a RVT at Mission Valley Veterinary Clinic here in Fremont. I have been with the clinic since 2001 and I really enjoy my work and all the experience I have gained throughout the years. I have had the opportunity to work with many wonderful clients and their furry companions.

My husband and I have two wonderful children, a lizard, two busy guinea pigs, and a sweet, playful dog.

I am so happy to be a part of Peace of Mind In-Home Pet Care and I look forward to taking care of many wonderful and cherished family pets.
